robotic pets

a project created by Rania Ho and David Regen at New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program's Physical Computing class (Spring 1998) using a basic stamp, motors and copious amounts of plexiglass.

will you be my pal? rolling on my toes
really, the beeping is friendly fun with funky pets

the robotic pets are designed to follow light and 'heel' when they get close enough to a light source. The flashlights serve as invisible 'leashes' for the pets to lead them around. They are also capable of calling for attention when they feel neglected.
