IMPORTANT NOTE!: be sure the 555 and the rest of the circut gets enough power to drive all the components. That little white 9v. thingy you get from Radio Shack only puts out 9mA of power which is not enough. Using a 9v. battery, although not exactly cost effective in the long run, will get you better results.
